Hey everyone! I hope you had a Merry Christmas and that Santa maybe left you some new tools under the tree. I got a few that I’m really excited about, so I can’t wait to get back into the shop and build some projects.
Today, I’m partnering with HomeRight to share with you my top 5 favorite paint sprayer projects, PLUS I’m giving away a HomeRight Finish Max Super. I’ve been using mine since the summer and it’s been so great. No more spending extra time thinning my paint down. I just change the paint tip to coordinate with the thickness of the product and get to work! I’ve already used it for regular paint, chalk paint, stain, and polycrylic. Every time it works beautifully!
Below you’ll find my top 5 favorite paint sprayer projects and a brief description of each of them. Be sure to click over to the projects for the full tutorials and printable plans!
Farmhouse Murphy Bed and Desk
This project is my absolute favorite project that I have ever built. It’s a monster of a project, but so incredibly useful for us as we needed an office space, but also a guest room. I modified the original plans to extend the bookcase and add an 8′ long desk. We work in this room every single day and our guests always comment on how comfortable they are when they stay with us. I painted the entire unit with my HomeRight Finish Max and shared a tutorial on how to get a smooth professional paint job with it.
Farmhouse Dining Room
Earlier this year, I participated in my first (and possibly my last) One Room Challenge. I remodeled my dining room, the biggest change being the cabinets. They were natural, knotty alder and they just weren’t doing it for me anymore. I painted all of the doors with my Finish Max and the results were night and day!
DIY Dog Food Station with Storage
Our very spoiled dog, Dakota, is like another child to us, so of course I had to build a project that was just for her. I wanted a place to store her dog food in plain sight, so I designed this dog food station with hidden storage. She loves it and we do too!
DIY Narrow Hall Table
Our boys have a tiny little hallway between their bedrooms, and I wasn’t a fan of just the bland wall. I added a pallet feature wall, but then decided it also needed a table. I built this narrow hall table and painted it a bold blue color so it popped against the pallet wood.
DIY Rustic Dresser
My youngest’s bedroom is a work in progress, but this year, I was able to build him this gorgeous rustic dresser. I stained it by hand, but used my Finish Max to spray the polycrylic over the entire project, which is so unbelievably fast. You can certainly use stain in your Finish Max, and I use it often for that application, but this time just stuck with using it for the poly. I even shared a YouTube video on the whole process!
There are so many different projects that I have used my HomeRight Finish Max and Finish Max Super on and I know there will be many more in 2018. All of them were finished so much faster, easier, and look better than when I used to use a brush. Even the small projects are faster when using a Finish Max. Today, I’m giving one lucky reader the chance to win their own HomeRight Finish Max Super! Just follow the Rafflecopter entry form below to enter! One winner will be randomly selected and notified via email. The winner has 48 hours to claim their prize or a new winner will be randomly selected. This giveaway is open to U.S. Residents ages 18 and over. Void in Alaska and Hawaii. Thanks and good luck!

This is a great design and my wife really likes this dresser so i am building it for her. After going over the plans I noticed an error in your cut list or it could be an error in the posted measurements on the plans I,m not sure which. You have the finished drawer dimensions as 16″x 17-1/2″ outside dimensions and the 1/4″ bottom panel as 16-1/2″x 17″ which will not work. If the measurements on the plans for the drawer then the bottom panel should be cut at 15-1/2″x 17″.
