In reply to Nancy. I've never used it around an area that gets wet often, but it can go over just about any surface. Even those that have been previously painted.

Will this paint/method work over cabinets that have already been painted once? With semigloss latex paint? How does it hold up to water areas such as sink?

I am planning on doing this method with my kitchen cabinets. Did you use a special brush to paint the chalk paint on? I am planning on buying the brush for waxing, but I wasn’t sure if a regular paint brush would do for the actual painting part.

In reply to Kristena. I did on these, but when I paint my kitchen cabinets, I don't plan to. The only exception will be on cabinets where I plan on replacing the face with glass.

I am going to paint my kitchen cabinets white and I wasn’t planning on painting the inside. Did you paint the inside of the cabinets?
