I’ve never used it around an area that gets wet often, but it can go over just about any surface. Even those that have been previously painted.

Did you use a special brush to paint the chalk paint on? I am planning on buying the brush for waxing, but I wasn’t sure if a regular paint brush would do for the actual painting part.

I did on these, but when I paint my kitchen cabinets, I don’t plan to. The only exception will be on cabinets where I plan on replacing the face with glass.
