We can somewhat see the seam, but only because we know where it is. Most people who look at it don’t even notice there is a seam:)

My husband and I just ordered a 10×15 roll and are thinking of getting another. The main thing we are worried about is the seam. With your two rolls installed, do you see the seam at all? If we do decide to add another roll, I’m hoping the seam doesn’t give us a problem and it isn’t noticeable.

You’ll definitely love it! We have zero complaints!

Highly allergic to grass & tired of looking at all xeriscaping. This looks very natural, & the installation seems pretty straightforward. I’ll get this done in the fall, after the heat settles down.

We’re doing a huge reworking of our yard and we need to decide what to do about the grass soon. We’ve just installed a new fence and so grass is the next step for us. Thank you for this thoughtful breakdown of the pros and cons! You’ve certainly given my husband and I something to talk about!

For us, we actually trained ours to not go on the grass. I know that is not an alternative for everyone, though, as not everyone has an alternative area their pet can go. From what I was reading, a solution of simple green and water sprayed well over the grass should help. I just don’t have any experience with it personally.

Hi Giselle, I’m not entirely sure how long it will last before needing to be replaced. I know that they have a 10 year warranty on the grass, so I have to imagine it will last beyond that.

I love the idea of not having to mow it! Did the company give you an idea of how long it will last before you need to replace it? As I get older this seems like a great idea from a maintenance standpoint.
