really trying to clean out and de-clutter right now because we are moving…that is the BEST time to clean out! but other than that I like to spring clean with the windows open

I always start at the top and work my way down. Everything that can be washed gets washed. My favorite part is when it is all finished and I can relax in my clean house. 😉

My favorite part of spring cleaning is getting rid of clutter and donating what we don’t need or use.

I try to clean one room at a time from top to bottom. I usually end up painting in the spring to freshen up some of the rooms.

I don’t do a big spring cleaning because I’m too busy outside gardening. I tend to do a big winter cleaning when I’m stuck inside. Usually in January I’ll do what I call detailing, where I’ll take almost everything out of a room, clean, and then clean and sort everything as I put it back.

I hate doing it, but I love when my windows are clean after a long winter. I swear it makes the house brighter!
