It contrasted the cabinets really well. The choice for using white in the cabinets was really strong, too; white makes spaces appear more open.

It feels like it’s such an elegant home. I’ve been talking to my husband about remodeling our kitchen too, but I don’t think he’s on board yet. My husband and I are currently looking for a contractor to help us with our remodel, so I’m trying to gather ideas and make sure I know what I want while that’s going on. I would love to have a tiny island like that, and I think it’s a cute and unique thing, so I’ll have to look more into that.
