If you saw my post earlier this week, you know that I’m giving our den/kids office space a makeover. The first task I set out to accomplish was to rip the old baseboards out and paint the walls with my new favorite color, Mindful Grey.
Our den is sort of a weird space in our house. It’s not completely closed off, so you can basically always see it. The fact that it wasn’t exactly pretty has bothered me for some time. As much as I’d like to build up the walls to close it off, it just isn’t in the budget right now. For the time being, a fresh coat of pretty paint and some added touches will help this room so much.
The tools helping me with this job are my HomeRight PaintStick EZ-Twist and Mini-Stick. These amazing tools help me paint in record time. As a busy mom, I love anything that can save me time and not stopping every 5 seconds to reload my paint roller is a huge help!
The paint stick allows you to draw paint into the handle and twist it to load the roller while you paint. No pouring paint into trays and making a huge mess that you inevitably have to clean up. The paint sticks hold all of the paint for you and are easy to clean once you’re finished!
I used the EZ-Twist* on the main walls in the room, but the desk area had some tight spaces and also small wall areas that were perfect for my Mini-Stick. In no time at all, I had my gorgeous new paint color on the walls and was finished! I used to dread the task of painting because of the amount of time it would take me, but not anymore! I can’t wait to get this color on the rest of my house! (*affiliate link)
